THE FRAGRANCE

NOIR ETOILE

Noir étoilé

Top Notes: Bergamot, Green Tea, Rose

The fragrance opens with the sparkling zest of bergamot, offering a bright and invigorating citrus freshness. This is complemented by the delicate aroma of green tea, imparting a serene and calming nuance. A subtle hint of rose adds a soft floral touch, evoking the gentle glow of stars against the night sky.

Heart Notes: Rose, Guaiac Wood, Black Tea

At its heart, Noir Étoilé unveils a harmonious blend of rose and guaiac wood. The rose provides a rich, velvety floral depth, while guaiac wood introduces a smoky, resinous warmth. The infusion of black tea adds an earthy sophistication, enhancing the fragrance's complexity and allure.

Base Notes: Musk, Woods, Orcanox™

As the scent settles, it reveals a base of soft musk and woody accords, creating a comforting and sensual foundation. Orcanox™, a modern ambergris note, lends a smooth, long-lasting warmth, leaving a captivating trail that lingers like the memory of a starry night.

Noir Étoilé is an olfactory journey through a celestial landscape, where luminous florals meet the depth of night, crafting a scent that is both enchanting and timeless.

THE PERFUMER

JULIE MASSE

Her roots go from Japan to Grasse, deeply anchored in the terroir of perfume plants. Her wings are in creation, in all its forms. That’s because Julie is of an inventive nature. She transforms what passes through her hands, producing hybrid objects. Perfume remains her first passion and from as far back as she can remember, it’s the path that she had chosen. Trailing in the sillage of a father who worked in this industry but above all following the furrow that this granddaughter of a winegrower had plotted herself.

She considers her family like a tribe in which shared moments are savored and mouthwatering cuisine is an essential ingredient. Her perfumery is in her image, welcoming and energetic. It creates a warm and vibrant aura, for she envisions fragrance as an invisible companion, protective and enveloping. The result is a blend of technical know-how, an initial impetus never betrayed, and team spirit. This last element is just as dear to her. In this respect, she readily compares her profession to her architect husband’s. It is an activity in which success is also the fruit of a collective work.
